What is Launch Funds?
Launch Funds are short-term, incremental incentives provided by vendors to support the introduction of new partnerships, products, or market expansions. These funds are typically allocated in addition to existing channel funding mechanisms (such as Co-op or MDF) and are designed to accelerate awareness, enablement, and early-stage demand generation. They are discretionary in nature and often tied to a specific launch period or quarter. Launch Funds can be used to recruit new partners, onboard them, activate go-to-market initiatives, and stimulate pipeline creation, especially for partners who have not yet built sufficient sales volume to qualify for traditional incentive programs.
